Communicable diseases control and prevention group (CDC group) is one of special groups of Health center of Azarbaijan-e-Sharghi province. Epidemiology and burden of communicable diseases determine responsibility of this group. Experts of this group must know about distribution of communicable diseases such as sporadic or endemic or outbreaks and get appropriate strategies to prevention and control of them. Experts administrate methods for primary to tertiary prevention. They try to take to advantage of special knowledge to achieve the health and sanitation of country. These goals are affected by the policies of World health organization (WHO) such as situation diagnosis, control, and elimination of communicable diseases.
The main responsibility of the group is to correspond the controlling and preventive programs for illnesses declared by the related ministry with provincial situation and supervising the implementation of the programs. It also tries to create an appropriate situation for promoting job and personal skills for the staff so as to improve the caring programs and also to create a proper situation functional education and research.
