About
The expert workgroup of schools, teenagers, and adults’ health aims at reaching the first place among the teenagers and adults of the whole country (from the physical, mental, social, and spiritual points of view) and have the healthiest young people of all the provinces in the country)To achieve this goal the workgroup is trying to create intra- organizational inter-sectorial harmony among the main organization being responsible in this field (education and training organization, the head office of the youth and sports, and the University of Medical Science), making use of the facilities in the mentioned organization in the province, and attracting the contributions of other sectors of the community.
The main responsibility of this group is to organize, plan and implement purposefully the health plans of the youth, adults, and schools in three prevention levels in the province so that they can make policies, plan, implement, and pursue the programs and plans in different regions of the covered urban and rural populations by regarding the priorities, regional, provincial and national requirements, components and capacities of primary health care system and its supplementary plans ( family doctor), disease burden and the problems with the age group 6 to 29 and the causes of these problems, and enhancing the quality and the quantity of the required services.
The top priorities of the workgroup
- Empowering the age group 6-29 in different fields of personal and social life and reinforcing different aspects of physical, mental, social and spiritual life.
- Timely diagnosis of potential disorders among the adults between 6 to 29 and rational interference in the disease burden, disorders and accidents reduction in the mentioned group
- Timely diagnosis of potential disorders among the teachers and educational and the executive staff of schools and rational interference in the disease burden, disorders and accidents reduction in the mentioned group
- Continuous care for the potential illnesses ( contagious and non-communicable) among the age group 6 to 29
- In identification and study of the risk factors ( environmental, physical ,and biological factors affecting the health adults between 6 to 29)
- Participation in the standardization of schools in terms of different aspects of health improvement ( from the intellectual, emotional, mental , physical, social , and economic points of view)
- School and 6-29 age group participation increase in family and social health improvement
- Creating a situation for intra-sectorial and inter-sectorial contribution and cooperation and identification and attracting the contribution of different groups of people (NGOs) in the field of health improvement.
- Organizing, planning creating capacities, supporting and effective leading of different approaches and plans of the health improvement of teenagers, young adults, and the schools of the province and related towns
- Needs analysis, prioritizing , and designing the required programs and plans on qualitative and quantitative development of the health services for the 6 to 29 year olds in the province
- Designing and implementation of a dynamic and purposeful monitoring, assessment , and evaluation system for effective management of health plans of 6 to 29 year olds in the province
- Qualitative and quantitative plans for continuous education expansion in order to empower the related human source in terms of technical and management skills increase
- Developing and reinforcing education and public awareness in the field of 6 to 29 year olds’ health
- Planning for healthy lifestyle for 6 to 29 year olds
- Creating capacities to reinforce 5×5×5 (behavioral risk factors, biological factors and chronic disease) in the age group 6 to 29.
