The integration of oral health with PHC's aim is to promote oral health in the society .The programs of oral health provides, prevention and treatment education or the public, especially for the poor and susceptible people, utilizing the power of primary health care system.
The target groups of oral health programs
Children under 7 years old, children between 7 to 14 years old and pregnant woman
The staff giving service in level 1
The social workers in health houses, health care service providers, and the health technicians and experts.

Dental hygienists and dentists
The duties of the service providers in level 1
- Examining and oral health condition registration in the target groups
- Oral health education in covered population
- Fluoride therapy in children under 14
- Distribution of finger toothbrush for children under 2 years old
- Sending the patients to higher levels ( dentists) in case of need
The duties of service providers in level 2 (oral hygienists and dentists)
- Training and empowering the service providers in level 1
- Educating the target groups and the covered population on oral health
- Examining and oral health counseling for the target groups and the patients referring to health and treatment centers
- Providing dental service ( pulling teeth, restore, bleaching, pulpotomy , fluoride therapy, Fissure sealant therapy)
- Sending the patients to higher level of treatment in case of need
The top priorities of the group
- Oral health program for elementary school students; involving varnish fluoride therapy for all elementary students in two shifts, restoring permanent teeth and milk teeth with six permanent teeth priority, fissure sealant therapy and oral health education.
- Oral health program for children under 7 years old; including examining and oral health recording of the target groups, oral health education, distribution of finger toothbrush among 6 months old, 12 months old and 18 months old children, varnish fluoride therapy for children above 3 years old, Sending the patients to higher level and follow up.
- Oral health program for pregnant and nursing mothers; involving examining and oral health education, bleaching during pregnancy and nursing in case of need.
